New Trailer for Terrence Malick’s “Knight of Cups”

It seems like only a few hours ago that we were telling you about the inclusion of Terrence Malick’s latest project Knight of Cups among the premieres of the Berlin International Film Festival. Well it hardly seems fair that we would give you that delicious little nugget without something to cut your teeth on, Well cut away, because Deadline has reported that a trailer has been released for Malick’s project starring Chrisitan Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman and the voice of Ben Kingsley. There’s very little to glean about the plot of the film since no such synopsis exists at the moment, but it does give us a chance to see what Bale and Blanchett can do under Malick’s direction. Check it out, courtesy of Youtube:

Yeah, so that’s definitely a trailer for a Terrence Malick film. This looks to be a seriously enticing film, and it’ll be interesting to see what plot points appear before February. Malick wrote the script as well so its bound to have the spanning non-linear tropes of his previous film like Tree of Life. The cast also includes Brian Dennehy, Antonio Banderas, Freida Pinto, Wes Bentley, Isabel Lucas, Teresa Palmer, Imogen Poots and Armin Mueller-Stahl.

Is this your Knight of Cup of tea?
