The Revenant and Mad Max: Fury Road are the big winners at the BAFTAs 2016, with all eyes on The Revenant to keep the party going all the way to the Academy Awards.

Last night saw the latest keadup to the Oscars, it’s the BAFTAS 2016. So we’re here with an up to date, hot off the press exclusive on who won and who lost. I can’t even believe how on the pulse of movie news we are. Ok so we’re pretty late to the party, but just in case you still wanted to know who won at the BAFTAS 2016 you came to the right place!

As you know by now we’re not big on mixing award lists in with oodles of other stuff, so here’s the list plain and simple:

Well it looks like another good night for The Revenant, taking the lion’s share of the awards including Best Pitcure and Best Actor. Mad Max: Fury Road was a close second, nabbing a good amount of metal for itself. It’s looking more and more likely that The Revenant will be Alejandro Inarritu‘s second year winning Best Picture at the Oscar’s. However, let’s not forget that the BAFTAS and Oscars didn’t match up last year, with Boyhood taking the BAFTA for Best Picture and Birdman taking the Oscar. But will Leonardo DiCaprio nab the Best Actor Oscar as well as the BAFTA?
